I think it’s worth pointing out that 1/5 of the budget is going towards merchandising. Why not shave 20k off of the goal and try not to grab for cash so much??????

everything about this kickstarter is so messed up
7 minute cartoon, need 80k to make it, hosting it on a free video website, no animation skills or background in animating, too much of other people’s money going into merchandising; MERCHANDISING OF A 7 MINUTE CARTOON THATS GOING TO COST 80K MADE BY PEOPLE WHO CANT ANIMATE WHO ARE USING SOMEONE ELSES IDEA TO MAKE A GRAB FOR MONEY UUUUH

YEAH!!!!????

I have a dumb question, what is the difference between production costs and animation?

Johnny and I are really suspicious about that huge pie slice and why its so big and why it says on the kickstarter that it goes to taxes and wage and cuts to other companies, but the other parts on the pie chart should include the wages… we also dont believe that a few pins and shirts and mugs are gonna cost them $17k (reward items/merch). We also think the bear is put right in front of the orange pie slice to make it look smaller.
the more and more i look into this fucking kickstarter the worse and scummier it sounds. no body knows what production cost really means.

honestly it shouldn’t take around 27k to produce something that is 7 minutes let alone the quality it’s being produced at.  like this pie chart is likely cut so that these two can keep as much of the money as they possibly can.  it should NOT take near the amount of money they’ve placed into any of these parts of the production.not to mention how shitty these animators are as people, they’re likely going to cut the animation short and keep at least half the money for themselves.

“Merchandising shouldn’t even be thought of before they get a couple episodes out because this is really one of those things where people often quit after like two episodes because it’s harder than they thought”
Additionally: these receipts
